Feels like an eternity ago since all we really had was a kickstarter for Clannad, I'm so glad we got just about everything Key now

Did the Rewrite kickstarter ever finish? I forget if I ever got my Steam key for that.

Also, it’s a pity the AIR anime doesn’t stream anywhere anymore, but given that the dub stars anime’s best-known sex pest, maybe that’s for the best.

Rewrite+ was released and keys were given out, but Harvest Festa is still in limbo (there's a Steam page but the release has been hung up for years for some reason) and physical rewards have not been distributed (the final discs can't be pressed yet).

Awesome!! Considering Kanon was finally put out last year, I figured it was only a matter of time before Air got the same treatment, and sure enough, it did! Also just like with Kanon, I really hope this English release gets ported to the Switch version as well!

Yes baby yes! Now all Key releases aside from Prima Doll and Summer Pockets: Reflection Blue will have an official English release. Hopefully this and Kanon finally get English releases on Switch as well because I want physical copies of them to put next to Clannad, Stella of the End, Little Busters, Harmonia, Lunaria, Loopers and Planetarian.

Rewrite was in hung up for years, so this is par the course.

Apparently AIR has quite a bit of a censorship not just in visuals but also the writing. Unfortunate

Sadly, the Key belongs to Tencent now

How so? Can you show/cite some examples please? I've only played a fan translation of the PSP version, so I don't know the differences between that and later releases.

The Japanese physical version of Kanon received a patch installing the new English localization. They even started putting out new copies of the Switch version with the English translation built into it.

I think they were referring to the All-Ages edition as that removed the sex scenes from the original release.

Is there a way to tell which Kanon Switch JP releases include the English on the cart? Does it have that English-->Japanese-->Chinese logo in the bottom right corner now?

The new copies have the English-->Japanese-->Chinese logo in the bottom left corner. I ordered one copy once the patch was released (from Amazon JP), and it turned out to be a copy of this new edition.
