The children are too young to remember Bonzi Buddy, I see. They have forgotten the ancient lore and thus are doomed to repeat the tragedies of the past.

Wild that something like this exists in 2025. There's a desktop screenshot from 2009 on my old Deviantart account that shows a 3D desktop pet of Tako Luka... and custom made 2D Shimeji used to be such a popular thing.
