'side eye' Last time TP dabbled in OEL, it all went up in flames, and not just the OEL part. Better luck this time? Neutral

I think this time will be different because the backlash toward OEL manga is almost non-existent today compared to 2000's and early 2010's (and a subject of a topic I created in a manga section of ANN forum trying to figure out why the backlash toward OEL manga just stopped), and before you asked: Yes, I'm already aware of Tokyopop's past treatments of OEL artists, and I don't think they'll try to pull it off here because now a lot of people are now aware of this in this day and age of the internet and that YT video I just linked. So I don't think Tokyopop can face another scrutiny if they tried something like that again, so the OEL manga backlash that happened in 2000's and early 2010's is not there anymore. So Tokyopop may get a lucky 2nd chance on their OEL line.

Think there's any chance they'll revisit Highway 35 and Acceleracers? Cause that was peak HW.
The 8-12 target audience doesn't inspire confidence, but one can hope, right?

I would love to see them finally conclude the story from Acceleracers.

Wow. Tokyopop's getting involved with Mattel to do manga-style versions of some of their properties. Hopefully,it'll work out. I think it'll be interesting to see stuff like Barbie and Hot Wheels in manga form. Let's just hope it's good and not the usual junk we've been seeing lately.

Didn't they follow up with Acceleracers with that Battle Force 5 show?
