I was wondering when it would be announced as an anime, its manga adaptation has been popular for a while.

The manga is a good read so I am excited about this news.
Now all to do now is to announce an anime adaptation of I Got Caught Up in a Hero Summons and the world is okay again (at least for the time being).

Good news. Here's hoping it has a good budget and it will be a good adaptation.

Well, that sure is a Narou novel summary. And if I had to come up with a Narou novel parody, I don't think I could do better than that just-barely-PEP-8-compliant-in-Japanese title.

Anyway, spreadsheet updated.

What exactly does the bolded part mean?

One small correction, the manga artist's name is not Takashi Ohmae, it's Takafumi Oomae, according to Seven Seas' cover of the manga.

Kind of sounds like a Banished style story but it seems pretty popular!

Man, we really are pushing the boundaries on the amount of words for a title on an anime, aren't we?

PEP 8 is the official style guide for Python code, which among other things says lines should be limited to a maximum of 79 characters -- which happens to be the exact length of the Japanese title of this series.

The rest of the bolded part just means that said title is exactly what I'd expect the title of a parody of Narou novels to sound like, to the point that it literally has "zamaa" in it.

Funny Story!*

*not actually funny it was really annoying

So when we, J-Novel Club, published the novels for this series, we just used the same translation of the series title as Seven Seas, which had actually licensed the manga adaptation first.
We went to publish the book on Amazon, but they _steadfastly_ refused to allow us to list the book on their site, saying that it conflicted with an existing book and would cause reader confusion.
As is the usual when both the manga and light novel versions are published by two different companies, we had added a "(light novel)" at the end of the title to make sure the two editions were clearly differentiated. But for _some reason_ amazon was not accepting this, and kept claiming again and again that we were impersonating an existing book (aka the manga, we assumed).

Eventually I had a brainstorm: What if Amazon's algorithms that flag these sorts of things have like, a character limit? So we tried again but this time just put the title as Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon (light novel), and lo! Amazon no longer has any issues with it.

So yeah, this book's title was actually too damn long for amazon.

Yeah, I know how Amazon works. I had to list medical masks on Amazon when I worked for our company and yes, there are a lot of restrictions such as max 200 letters for titles, banned words in key words or description, photos were not allowed to have watermarks (even it was the own companies' logo.

The I would like to recommend The Brave Wish Revenging (this is actually the French title, but it is way easier to keep in mind than the Japanese name).
