Hi I'm unable to add Mr. Robert A. Heinlein person#26845 as the original novel writer for anime#4136 . It won't let me add English credits.

My suggestion would be to go under "add Japanese staff", and change the dropdown for language from Japanese to English. Hopefully that will work.

I see that, what I'm suggesting is- [pauses, then takes a look] Oh. That's a problem you'll have to take up with the encyclopedia editors.

It is correct as it is as he is credited with 原作 in the series: https://seesaawiki.jp/w/radioi_34/d/宇宙の戦士

Generally I've seen that things based on western works will list the original creator as part of the Japanese staff, so long as it isn't a co-production with lots of western involvement (wherein all of the English staff will be separated), as "English staff" is typically indicative of involvement in the English version of a series/film/etc, not just involvement from an English-speaking person.
