Watched the first four episodes. I like the premise of a middle aged guy and a magical birb man duo, but it has been a very mediocre experience. Feels like a bunch of darts being thrown on the wall between the magical isekai stuff and the psychic cop stuff. No ideas are really being committed to. And the main duo feels too strong for any tension to be felt, which in tern makes all the side characters feel like fodder. Does the story get better?

While i'm glad it continue i hope the next season will be more faithful especially with the Neighbor character, they skipped about all her PoV.

Another title to the list of sequels I was not even 50% sold to, so I will skip it. Oh, and the other title is Tales of Wedding Rings, yeah I shamefully watched that piece of crap until the very end and fully regret wasting half hour of my saturday morning on it.

After that cliffhanger ending I figured there was no way they could just end the anime at that point.

Glad it's getting a second season. It's not the greatest show ever made, but I did find it consistently fun to watch. Hopefully it doesn't have another cursed ED.

I've heard the plot is kind of all over the place, but happy for fans it's getting a second season.

A sure indication that the season 2 is just the second part of the already booked production that included season 1. This decision would of happened before the series even started airing probably was finalised before full production ramped up.
