Bit of a correction there. Crunchyroll currently has the Sub, Hulu has only the Dub. Hoopla also has the Dub to "borrow".

No, it's just a non canon tie in to an Arcade Game afaik.

Yeah, it is a cheap spinoff based on the arcade game where the original charcter main charcter is sent Isekai style to the world of "Xross Blade". (Not Dragon Quest, not the Dai Universe, but the arcade game). The art and story are so bad that I would not be suprised if the author never read/watched the original manga/anime. Depite (or maybe because) it runs in a magazine for little children the art is sexually suggestive. If you are looking for a sequel to Dai you are better off reading the Hero Avan prequel manga instead. It has the same author as the original series.
Hopefully the manga ending doesn't mean that the arcade game itself is ending soon. I beleive it recently started version 3 of the game.
