Shaft trying to stay relevant by buying a TV time slot for a trailer for a movie we've already seen, itself an adaptation of a 15-year old story in a series that has been dormant for 2 years now. Good times.

The Ikusamonogatari novel released half a year ago? I do otherwise agree, though.

Just hope this ad will on youtube. Otherwise, what's the point in getting excited about it, if I can't watch it?

I'm surprised Meme Oshino got an ad considering the controversial things about his voice actor.

The thing is that Aniplex did not give Shaft the greenlight to adapt the the post Owarimonogatari novels probably because of sales or the fact that Araragi is an adult there kinda like the Gundam Amuro issues.

This is almost guaranteed to be an Aniplex strategy lol, Shaft are insane and instead decided to release the storyboards to all three films in a single book

I just finished Zoku Owarimonogatari, thus finishing everything that's been adapted. I'm hoping this film is being made to fund more seasons.

Sooo....... where's the YouTube video that I can watch? It's no longer available, and Aniplex has not posted it on their YT channel.

I admittedly did not check at the appointed time on New Year's Day, though I know the video was supposed to stream that day. What I assume happened is the video live-streamed at that time and then was taken down. It's finally back up for good now it seems, now that the film is in theaters, so I've updated the article and posted it again.
