Looks interesting for me! Hope that all the manga will be adapted in 24-26 episodes!

Mahjong, that game I pretended to understand as I read Kaiji.
Best thing ever.[/list] |

I've been playing this game since late 2009 because of Saki anime. I've heard of this manga. However, I never into manga; and I was more into anime. Though I actually gave up anime three years ago.
Anyways, if anyone is curious enough to learn the mahjong this series and other anime, just look up Japanese mahjong. |

Wonder if it will be as exciting as this?
https://youtu.be/JLq7u2dyA3k This match includes Mao (who had risen from the dead), the current Chinese leadership (in the glasses), and at the end, cameo appearances by Dick Cheney and George W. Bush (on the scooter). The hero is, of course, Koizumi Junichiro, former PM of Japan. |

What did I just watch? Either way, I am watching Pon no Michi this season so I will give this a try. Just trying to fill the gaps before the next season of Saki.....which is never coming, is it |

Anyone expecting something similar to Saki is in for a rude shock: think Akagi, but the black suits aren't there for show and Yakuza are not people who you want to cross. The first big story arc finished years ago, so they could start with that. It's also a given this is going to air late night since the first arc up to a point have content which you cannot show to anyone under 17.
I'm not having any expectations as I do not recognise the studio, so if the adaptation bombs it wouldn't be a surprise. It's had live action adaptations already, so the franchise has its own following and the spinoff with Dojima would actually be fun to watch as it's in the Kaiji mould combined with Mahjong. |

Nothing will ever beat Legend of Koizumi. Wish they'd make more anime; I'd even just take more OVA episodes. But aint no way they are getting to the end of the first arc fightingspoiler[ the Fouth Reich on the moon led by bishounen "Super Aryan" Hitler.] This and Akagi got me into mahjong. |
