Recently come across the manga adaptation of this and read a few chapters. It does suffer from the game stats issue a lot of gamified series suffer, but I definitely remember thinking there were scenes that could look great animated especially the scene where Kaito first test's the Valkyrie girl's ability. spoiler[His mistake asking her to go all out, and him getting knocked around from just the winds from the charge up.]
