Bringing back the original VA in the form of Suguru's father AND Suguru's teacher is a pretty neat way to "pass the torch". Based on the YouTube comments, Japanese fans think this was a pretty respectful way to handle a new VA, and I agree.

I watched the trailer without reading the cast, all I could think was "no fcking way this is Miyano Mamoru"... AND IT TURNS OUT IT IS????????
This wasn't in my 2023 bingo and we're only 4 days away from ending it. |

That reminds me of a thing that happened in the Brazilian dub of the new Rurouni Kenshin anime. Kenshin's new voice actor, Caio Guarnieri, is the son of Kenshin's original VA (José "Tatá" Guarnieri) who dubbed him the 90s anime and live-action movies. Don't know if José has a role in the anime, but I think it was pretty nice that his son inherited the character |

Kamiya playing Kinnikuman's father makes perfect sense. I love it.
I would have had Hideyuki Tanaka play Kamehame as he played Kinnikuman Black II in the old anime. But I'm sure Kamiya can handle two roles just fine. I'm glad he's back in some capacity. I was pretty sure that would happen. |

It would be awesome for Netflix to get this, but considering that they haven't been licensing as much anime since late 2021 and more into developing and commissioning their own anime I realistically see Crunchyroll getting this considering they've been licensing the bulk of the seasonal and major anime per season besides Sentai.

Disney: Licensing it depends on how much involvement Brocken, Jr. is in this arc, compared to the original. https://youtu.be/430X2G4Vii8?si=lj5iWtyOefZLGkzL But then the Iron Claw is allegedly about a Nazi wrestler, so maybe that's not an issue.
