Considering the name of the arc being adapted, no. This is probably a 3-4 season show.

Am I the only one who feels that Mashle kind of went under the radar this season? I didn’t really see a lot of people talk about it online but nevertheless I’m happy we’re getting a S2 as I really enjoyed the first season.

I can't wait for more of Mash's adventures as he muscle magics his way through Hogwarts! I ended up enjoying the first season a surprising amount.

Same, it was not the best anime this season, but it was the one I was looking forward to the most each week.

It's one of the best shows this season, so that's fairly normal. Nobody ever talks about the top 3-5 shows of a season.

Personally, I found it to be a bit stale. I enjoyed it for what it was however, it used the same jokes constantly and you can only get so much out of Mash punching everything and being socially awkward. It just played everything too safe, and I can only assume that because of that there wasn't much discussion to be had.

The manga is the same way. It's been running for years now but it was never a top contender like JJK, Chainsaw Man, YnK, AoT, or MHA are/were. It's basically on the middle-level of popularity like Sket Dance, Nisekoi, and similar shounen titles that go a long time but never really become The Next Big Thing. And that's fine, in my opinion.

From what I've heard the series is pretty popular in France though. Back in February when they announced 4 million copies of the manga were in circulation, 1 million alone come from France. 1/4th of the sales sales coming from France seems interesting to me.
