Always a shame when a mobile game dies and this was one I used to play a lot. Although I dropped it when they censored the Roll stuff.

If by censor you mean taking Roll and putting her in a less drab & stereotypical Japanese school swimsuit. That’s an interesting reasoning. That aside another mobile game bites the dust. |

It should be noted that this game has 3 versions, the third being from Capcom Japan (the Asian mobile & Global PC version are from Capcom Taiwan) and they too are shutting it down.

This one implies the opposite. It says its a different server and will be continuing on. |

That one is from NebulaJoy who runs the Americas, Europe & Korea version. |

Dude. They just updated her outfit to a normal swimsuit. Not sure how that’s considered censorship |

I do gotta agree, I'm in the ~censorship of any kind is always bad~ camp, but the newer design is legit the better, more colorful one. It makes so much more sense visually. The announcement is a layered cake of tragedy - the Gacha elements to X Dive are exploitative and terrible, and you will hit HARD walls unless you Gacha frequently and do so smartly. PvP is VERY pay-to-win. It's.... on a phone. By all accounts, this should have been a fart in the much louder universe, and yet.... This was legitimately one of the better new MegaMan experiences we've gotten since MM11. Each character has funny little quirks when you select them, befitting their origin game. They usually all tend to play correctly/in the spirit of their originating title. Coming up with builds (assuming you have the resources to do so) and pairing weapons and skills with characters is FUN. They've got boss-rushing, speed-running, a full 20-world campaign with each world having something like 6 to 8 stages each, and a cute enough story that makes it all worthwhile. MegaMan X dive is THE perfect example of a fun game getting gutted by the Gacha/live service model, and now the Steam version that is probably the most accessible & highest fidelity is being shutdown. Hopefully people are grabbing data and packets because an offline version that is free from micropayments would be an AMAZING MMX5-caliber experience. If you get a chance, I implore you to grab the NA version for phone, bluetooth pair a PS4 pad, and roll characters until you get Dive Axl/Zero, Shadow X, or Dive MM EXE. If you can grab any of those characters I just listed, you should be able to at least experience the story & if you are a MegaMan X fan of any generation, you will almost certainly enjoy the game & not need to spend any cash to do so. |

Is there something I'm missing, or isn't this the only new Mega Man experience we've gotten since MM11? |

Well if you venture outside of the games. The Fully Charged Cartoon that everyone didn’t like got a comic book continuation a year and half after the TV show ended.

I had actually completely purged Fully Charged from my memory. If there's a comic book sequel, I almost feel like I should check it out; surely something like that must have been a passion project, nobody would have expected that to make any money...

Sad to see this go, but the writing has been on the wall for months, since they haven't added new content in a while.
At least the farewell video seems to hint strongly at an eventual sequel. |

Considering it’s a 6 issue miniseries and done by a different publisher from IDW Megaman books you might be right. |

man...I barely played x dive. Mobile games always tend to go this way. Megaman is my #1 favorite franchise above all since the 90's. Sure do miss it's heydays
