On the one hand, I'm not going to be petty and crab rave over this man's death.
On the other hand, I don't think I'll be shedding tears for him any time soon.
Sympathy for his loved ones regardless.

Condolences to his family, but kind of hard to be upset at the passing of literally the reason we couldn't have nice things.
Also has anything further actually come out of that agreement to release Harmony Gold's deathgrip on Macross? Because so far all I've seen was a brief theatrical run of the Plus movie edition in 2021 or so, so it's kind of been a disappointment.

I went and saw the Frontier Movies in theaters. Great stuff. I'm pretty sure they announced they're gonna start releasing the Macross series in some fashion on home release, but I think we should just expect a sub-only type deal.
I'd love it if we lived in the age of Geneon's Tenchi Muyo, El-Hazard, and Phantom Quest Corp where dub songs were not only common, but pretty damn good. I think even if these shows end up getting dubbed, they'll do that annoying thing where once the songs start, they swap the audio to Japanese.
Ah well, I'm still excited for it.
Oh right, and rest in peace to the man who didn't let the west enjoy the series without it being horribly mangled beyond recognition. Let him live on in our hearts.

Pretty much everything other than DYRL and the original TV series has been licensed at this point. It's just obviously going to take time for Nozomi and the other companies involved to make the BDs and translate everything and make sure everything is properly set up.

With Mr. Agrama's death, it seems more likely that his Harmony Gold company will go defunct. Rest in peace, man!

And Macross Zero, which was notably absent from the deluge of Macross announcements from last year's Anime Expo.

RIP
I'm honestly pretty curious as to what spurred his career change from doctor to the arts.

He's actually been retired from the company for years now. His daughter currently runs it these days.

Very unlikely. Robotech was an extremely small portion of Harmony Gold's income which is mainly from real estate and rental properties these days.

getting in college in Egypt doesn't work like usa where u pay to join one u enjoy . it just depends on degree in 12th grade .
though , since he got enough grades to join medicine, then he could join arts in Egypt BUT , quality of colleges differ in Egypt and that's why joined medical .
Me personally , I'm in the medical field , but if i ever managed to leave to US , I might switch career to economy or politics or both , if i found a chance

I always thought it was Carl Macek who was mostly responsible for that. Either way, condolences shouldn't include any form of ill will against someone who passed away.
Mr. Agrama, you will be greatly missed for helping the world remember the love.
