DarkHunter, why not post what YOUR favorite is and why? Thus, eliminating list threads...
My personal favorites are Clover, CCS, and XXXHolic.
Clover was one of the first CLAMP series I watched and I just think the artwork is so beautiful, the story is intriguing, and I can read it and read it and not get bored.
CCS & CCS: MotC the artwork in this is superb. Sakura's costumes are beautiful to look at, the storyline is very appealing, and it can be enjoyed by someone who's 12 or someone who's 25. I personally liked MotC better than CCS, but both are very good.
XXXHolic is the best CLAMP work I've read IMHO. I love the stark black & white coloring and the art deco feel with flowing lines are just glorious to look at. It's almost like they've been done with high quality woodcut techniques and it's so "unCLAMP-like" that it's completely CLAMP. Does that make sense? Probably not, but I just really love the story and art. :p

Out of my limited experience with CLAMP, I only have maybe four or five series, I really enjoy Shirahime-Syo: Snow Goddess Tales, and despite its being extremely short, it has this really fun air about it. I don't really know how to explain it, those of you who've read it would know. I also really like Wish, and Suki wasn't too bad. I've always wanted to try Clover but that will have to wait.

Yeah, Snow Goddess Tales is really pretty and I'm thrilled that TP released a hardback version because it really deserved that treatment. It's so much like a fairytale with its light, watercolor artwork that it just has more of an impact in hardback format. The stories all felt like the Snow Queen story. I just have never gone back and re-read it though. The other three I listed I've always gone back and re-read.

Card Captor Sakura- I first watched/read this series more than three years ago, and I still love it every bit as much as I did back then. The storyline is sweet, endearing, and the characters are well developed.
X, I love for the tragedy of it all. CLAMP did some unexpected things that truly surprised me. It's my second favorite anime.

Card Captor Sakura! I adore this manga and the anime! The character development is so thought out and rises above most anime when it comes to this aspect. The artwork is better than most of what is available on the market, and one of CLAMP's best (right up there with XXXHolic). The plot is really what takes the cake though. I love the concept of collecting the cards and each card having their own personality and power.
I love each of CLAMP's works though, each in their own respects.

To be honest, most of the CLAMP works I read didn't really spark my interest (I know that I'm going to regret that statement), but one thing that I did like was Chobits. While it wasn't perfect, I really liked the way it was planned out. From the ideas about androids as liveing beings to how Hideki was a perfectly normal guy right down to the way he looks, Chobits was an exellent concept. I also liked the X anime, but have yet to read the manga.

It's imposible to choose the best clamp manga work , because clamp has a weird yet cute way to atrract readers not only the exellent art but the fact that every single work has its own ideas and charm , though they like to mix charecters from different mangas , I like that ( once you read Subaru in Tokyo babylon , then you find him in X . but thats not it because Yuko will mention him in XXXholic !!!! crazy I love it !!! )
But If I have to choose then I'll say X the best then :
clover , ccs , wish , csd , Gohu drug , Tokyo babylon , xxxholic , tsubasa , MNR , 20 face , ccd

Hmmm...I'm really getting into XXXholic now. And Tokyo Babylon. It's funny that both XXXholic and Tokyo Babylon are being released almost simultaneously in the U.S right now. After reading one right after the other, it's easy to spot the simalarities between these two. They're both episodic, have a lot of ghosts, and have little bits of philosophizing along the way. Of all the Clamp works though, I like Rayearth's art the best though.
Being such a pretty big clamp fan, I feel really guilty that I've only read 2 volumes of X/1999. Need to go out and buy more!

Well chobits the anime i seen is done very good, I can't say the idea of an android being a "living being" is anything new or original. In fact there's so many anime that uses this crazy concept. You can even find it in hentai without the story though.
Not many people mention The Legend of Chun Hyang, but from what I seen and the parts that I read, it's very intriguing.

I'm not saying the concept is new, I just said that it was very well presented, enough to keep a theme that had been done many times interesting.

Yea, I'm also saying it's well presented too, heck it might even be the best out of the robogirl animes. Just that the concept to me has been done a lot lately. Just the whole robotgirl with emotion is a little bit too unrealistic to me. I can't imagine that some of my friends are lusting over chii even though she's a robot.

Yea I already understand that people have different taste. That's why I said "in your opinion". I think that the majority of CLAMP fans think that X and CCS are the best work since the anime is really popular too.
