I didn't even know this existed. Crunchy has it so I will definitely watch that before starting the new season.

It has some really good moments and skipping it will make you pretty confused during the start of the new season.

Honestly, I had wished this OVA was actually done as episodes for S3, as now that S3 had started to air today and they basically just threw you back into the fray. I'm curious, if Toonami were to air this eventually (I know that will have to rely on Sony/CR playing nice), Toonami will take the time to air the OVA before starting S3 or if it'll end up being a Made In Abyss S2 situation.
But it was a fun ride to watch this, in both the sub and dub. I've been very excited for Ryusui's anime debut, especially after they teased him at the end of S2, and it was well worth the wait. He's a very fun, albeit a very loud, character, and I can't wait for his character to be built upon in the later halves of S3. I think a lot of people are going to be turned off by his shouting and greedy personality, but I also think people are going to come around to him later on down the line. I wasn't too sure of him at first, other than finding him to be incredibly over the top which made for great comedic moments, but I'd say he's definitely within my top 5 favorite Dr. STONE characters once you get past the initial introductions.
Agree wholeheartedly on the OP for the OVA. I love Good Morning World!, but when I heard the [New] version, I instantly fell in love. Even let out a small tear, because there was something hauntingly beautiful about the arrangement. Add that with the visuals that mixed both older images with newer shots (holy crap, the Why-Man tease had me reeling), and it was definitely a favorite opening. I might have drove my husband mad with the amount of times I cranked it up in the car.

For a second I felt like a bad Dr. Stone fan thinking that this was something new, but it came out 9 months ago; I already watched it.

I'm kinda surprised that there are Dr. Stone fans who didn't know this existed. I thought it was well advertised, but maybe I just live on the internet.

Ah well, just think of it as a welcome surprise. There is so much anime these days that it is pretty easy to miss something.
