I've been watching this on Netflix - I didn't even realize it was on Crunchyroll...and judging from these screenshots, the subtitles are different? I know that's typical of Netflix for a show that's been out, but I guess that goes for simulcasts too?

I've been hesitant with getting back into it, honestly I can't take Canute seriously with his personality 180 out of nowhere, I'd say its the worst arc ever, but that would imply there was an arc when there wasn't. I would even take the good old "evil twin brother no one mentioned" over what we ended up getting. Kinda wish S2 was just a different show tbh that had nothing to do with S1 since I wasn't crazy about Thorfin either.

So far this season rocks. Still, you missed the biggest betrayal that destroyed Einar's character: He didn't wash his hands when taking a piss before waking up Thorfinn Shocked

you pretty much get that. Thorfin is a completely different character from where seaeson 2 starts. He is now a pacifist and in the manga so far refuses to fight and you pretty much never see Canute again in the manga

How was it out of nowhere? Canute's change
started all the way back when his mentor died. He finally realized his true purpose when Axeladd sacrificed himself to put him on the throne.
