I understand that maybe licensing issues or maybe Toei wanna maximize profits but could we PLEASE get these second and third seasons’ dubs on a streaming service people actually have???? Or just a Blu Ray release already?

What's with Toei and refusing to release dubs to normal streaming platforms recently?

I assume Digimon Adventure 2020 will end up here as well - it would be hilarious if they waited an extra month so Digimon would be released an entire year after it's announcement. I have no idea why they would spend money to dub a couple hundred episodes worth of shows only to send them to die on platforms like this though.

I haven't heard about this streaming platform, but in Latin America World Trigger was acquired by a platform called Anime Onegai by Animeka, they have started releasing an episode per week and they're currently at episode 12. Onegai isn't as big as Crunchyroll but they have acquired and dubbed some titles such as Hitman Reborn!, Skip Beat, Nyaruko Crawling with Love, Kuroko no Basket and the 2020 version of Dragon Quest the Adventure of Dai. Onegai is getting popular here in LatAm, but why Toei chose such an obscure platform for the English dub, I don't know.

Okay, but this article is specifically about the English streaming release. I understand you’re interested in Latin American releases and dubs, but perhaps it’s not necessary to bring those topics up in every talkback thread?

Why can't they just put their dubs on Crunchyroll or Hulu even?
