The original author of this light novel series is actually Nozomu Koryu, NOT Midori Tomizawa (who is involved with the manga adaptation). Koryu is credited correctly in the last paragraph of the article, but not in the headline or the initial paragraph.

As an anime, it's too run of the mill (especially since food related isekai is common), if it were an RPG it would be something decent, although it's been done many times, but it would've be a game to relax to like a modern Atelier game.

I really wish ToBooks chose Tearmoon Empire for an anime instead. That one is much more popular at least in the west.

I think it's only a matter of time until Tearmoon gets an anime. I'm guessing they're biding their time to make sure the adaptation is real good.
