I've seen some comparisons to Chivalry of a Failed Knight? Might just be the character designs.

Kawaguchi's back at Actas for the first time since, what, Moetan? Very cool to see.
Either way, really nice staff here, and the source material seems like it may be interesting enough. Hope the squad makes a fun anime out of it!

I'm concerned that it is Actas. They tend not to make their TV series on time. Also, it may affect further PP nd GuP movies schedule.

I have to admit that the key visual is better than I expected.

With all due respect.... dem legs caught my attention due to being on point. Funny that her face doesn't look the same as in the original artwork in the article. Cool visual with him throwing the sword causing the blur.

I hope Actas learned their lesson by this point since it had been 7 years since they handled animation duties on their own for a TV anime since Long Riders! first aired in October 2016. Actas are capable of doing their best as long as they are given time to do it. GuP and Princess Principal are a testament to that.

I honestly liked Higurashi Gou more than Sotsu and felt it was a decent start to the Gou/Sotsu storyline for Higurashi. So I'm willing to give this a shot.
