Curiously enough, the Latin American Spanish voice actors did something similar as well, thorugh only with Bojji and Kage's ones.

It should be noted that, unlike the original Japanese and English dub, Bojji is actually voiced by a child voice actor, rather than a woman.

Something I've noticed is that in Mexico there are several child voice actors compared to Japan and the U.S., in fact there are several voice actors who started their career at a young age and are still working. For example, Victor Ugarte who is known for lending his voice to characters like Shinji Ikari, Sasuke Uchiha and Wakana Gojo started acting around the age of 12 voicing Macaulay Culkin's character in Home Alone. Enzo Fortuny, who voices characters like Inuyasha, Miyuki Shirogane and Yuji Itadori, also got his start as a child with characters like Sid in Toy Story. Ash Ketchum's original voice actor, Gabriel Ramos, started voicing the character when he was 12 and continued to voice him until the middle of the DP series due to him moving to another country.
That's not to say that there aren't any male characters voiced by female actresses in Mexico, characters like Naruto Uzumaki, Bart Simpson, kid Goku, Tails and others are voiced by women.

It should be noted that Mexican voice actors, just like Americans, rather prefer to use women for voicing actual kids, and Bojji is one of the few exceptions on this rule, and even more so considering the topic of the show.

Other Latin American voice actors, like Colombian ones, avoid this and they rather use voice actors that match the gender of their characters, regardless their ages, being the most notorious case the dub of Thermae Romae Novae, when all the male kids are voiced by male voice actors, especially young Lucious, who is voiced by an actual child too.

I miss when a series would thank you for watching it, don't see it as much any more
