The art style reminds me a lot of Yuji Iwahara's work (King of Thorn, Darker than Black, DimensionW, and that alone is enough to tempt me.

What about "Kill Me, Baby"? And "Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan"? It's almost as if this is becoming a new genre.

I've never once said, or even thought, something like that, and would honestly be scared of (and for) anyone that did.

Both of those titles are over a decade old and have very little in common with this one. If Kiruru Kill Me is part of a trend, and I don't know that it is, it would be one more recent.

Judging from his previous works, I think the author had always have issues in developing his characters. I'm honestly concerned, but I really hope for the best.

1) They don't mean it literally (that this is literal is the joke)
2) Congrats on discovering some guys are submissives.

I've heard the (more literal...) "step on me" line about a quadrillion times, but never this one. Although, yandere fetishes are hardly a new concept. Seems like the joke here is that the guy wants the girl to be a yandere, but she isn't one.

I've heard both, but you're right that "step on me" is much, much more common.

To say she slayed me is a oft used romantic lingo similar to she floored me. Indicating a sudden violent turning of romantic interest. That idea has evolved into more of a kink word where you associate killing with a sudden romantic encounter and therefor saying I wish she or he would kill me is basically asking for a whirlwind romance with someone you fall for, often for their looks.

It's quite a comedy-fanservice series, but some of the later chapters had an unexpected amount of violence
It's also released in Spanish in the Manga Plus' app.

With all due respect, I can see why Nemo fell for Kiruru. That design is fire. I'm liking this. 12 episode anime in a couple years.

Just finished the first volume and like his previous work I've read, "Pretty Face" I enjoy his unique art style, kinda American comic booky. I thought it was good and worth getting the next volume to see if he mixes things up gimmick-wise, (but then reading that title...hmmm).
