So essentially You're Under Arrest if it were more low-key and realistic. Heck, more low-key and realistic than most depictions of police in anime.
I wonder if there will be any romance between the detectives and the female officers? Yui Ishikawa and Kana Hanazawa as cops... |

I hope the actual anime it's lighter in tone than the trailer, because it was too somber at the beginning to be considered a "comedy". Not that a comedy has to be joke after joke after joke all the time, but that was a pretty weird trailer.

That's the show I was thinking of too seeing this for the first time just now. Nice character designs and the art style looks good. Very nice cast with Yui and Kana. And it looks like I've also heard some of Shion thanks to Dynazenon, her small role in Gundam Re:Rise, and apparently she's the one who's playing Cosette in takt op which I just saw the first ep of a few days ago as well, cool. |
