What kind of leaks? I must assume production leaks as I can't see any kind of legal recourse they would have otherwise.

50 screenshots or so of most of the next arc were leaked online. There might be something else, but that's the one I know of.

Yeah it was a ridiculous amount, like clearly someone watching the billibilli videos and just taking screenshots every couple minutes for the next three episodes apparently.
I feel bad for those working on the show tbh. A couple extra screenshots a couple days in advance is one thing, but this was a completely different level.

Does that mean the leak was likely a bilibili employee or that the videos weren't secure where they were uploaded on bilibili for future streaming?

There's been leaks since before the first season started. It's like if China warned us now that we may have a virus situation going on.

Honestly, now that you bring up both possibilities, I have no clue. I just know people mentioned the screenshots had that logo in the corner.

I'm surprised they are so worried about leaks. It isn't as if anything new or surprising is going to happen for another several episodes anyways.
