That cast looks phenomenal! And I'm sure Kristen McGuire is going to do an amazing job scripting it (as well as kill it as Yume).
Dallas Reid is probably happy that Yomogi is much more low-key compared to the usual characters he voices.
Jason Liebrecht is once again going to be donning sweats as Koyomi Actually kind of hilarious that they got Elizabeth Maxwell to voice Inamoto considering her relationship with Koyomi.
Megan Shipman is going to be a lot of fun as Chise.
Aaron Campbell hasn't voiced a character like Gauma so far, from what I can recall, so this should be interesting. It's cool to see him play such a pivotal character here.
I'm guessing Clifford Chapin is probably busy with Slime so they passed the baton to Apphia Yu, who was at least also involved with SSSS.Gridman.

While I'm sure Clifford Chapin had other obligations and couldn't return to SSSS, I don't really have any issues with Apphia Yu on this. [Not really that spoiler-y, but I'll tag for those who want to go in completely blind] There's a TON of visual callbacks, but vocally not as much (and the ones that are there are really obvious), so I don't think a change in directors will be a huge deal. Also, Kristen McGuire's scripts on Wonder Egg have been fantastic, and I'm really happy this is her next writing project.
As far as I'm concerned, Dallas Reid and Kristen are both great choices for the (sort-of?) leads. I can't forget how the former practically single-handedly saved the train-wreck of a show that was Angels of Death for me, and kept me watching long after I probably should have dropped the show haha. So as far as I'm concerned I'm good whenever he's on the cast list period.
I Haven't heard as much from Aaron Campbell, so I'm really excited to hear his take on Gauma! And everyone else in the core group seems super fitting on paper. As for the others, I hadn't even thought about Lee George for Sizumu - really happy to hear him in more shows after his leading role in Appare-Ranman. Also, David Matranga as Onija is kind of a surprise actually. Although I know he's done loud, brash idiots before, its not something I feel like I hear a lot from him nowadays.
Anyways, this was one of my favorites of the Spring season, which was already packed with good stuff (Fruits Basket, Megaobox: Nomad, Odd Taxi, etc...) and I'm definitely going to check out the dub tomorrow!

The article is crediting Amanda Lee as "Ama Lee", her singing stage name, and the Encyclopedia link has no entries (while the Amanda Lee entry has the proper role credited).

Amanda Lee gone full idol to where she now uses her stage name as her official credit .
(Kind of reminds me of Lynn and MAO).

Neat. This show practically demands a rewatch to fully understand, so I'm glad this dub sounds solid.
