Tanjiro trains when he needs to, Zoro apparently is always training off screen given that his goal is a lot bigger. Zoro has inflicted more damage, one swing and there goes a giant ship full of people mocking him, Tanjiro on the other hand can split a big ass boulder. It's fun making this comparisons.
Maybe in the future Tanjiro will get stronger, but it always comes down to who is faster/stronger and does more damage. Still if the objective was to find One Piece, by themselves I think Tanjiro would find it first than Zoro lmao |

Maybe you could have a fight if you kept it to pre-Alabasta, but even then I just think Zoro was already too skilled and strong.

Its the same as with questions like comaring e.g. fiighting power of vessels in "Star Trek" vs. "Star Wars". The question makes no sense, as these universes have different physics.
Sure, both have superhuman strenght, but in the One Piece universe 'Superhuman' has a complete different dimension. On the other side, i cannot imagine a Non-One-Piece-Universe where having a sword in your mouth gives you a tactical advantage. |
