Never been a big fan of the crossover/gimmick figures. I'll just stick with the Mane 6 and other canon figures.

Considering MLP:FiM had more or less pony cameos of characters based on from The Big Lebowski to Doctor Who, this somehow doesn't seem out of the ordinary. If anything, it's interesting to see an actual licensed crossover here. (Not sure if there was one before, haven't kept up with the series since Season...3.)

I'll give Hasbro credit where credit is due, they're open to marketing stuff for adults unlike some other companies I can think of that flat out ignore their older fanbase or outright despise them. I don't agree with a lot of stuff they do, but this MLP line was good along with some of their Transformers stuff. There's definitely some misses, but it's nice to see any kind of stuff like this being put out. Or maybe I should be thanking Takara Tomy.

@Horsefellow

I like that they market to their older fanbase. Just stings to me when some cartoons that I know got cancelled because not kids bought or watch the show, but it was popular with adults. I see it as some of those adults possibly passing it to their kids or in some cases, it was saving the series but higher-ups still didn't like it and pulled the plug. Money lost, IMO.

Wow. Hatsune Miku and "My Little Pony." I'm not going to lie when I say this is a cute thing. This is a good idea. I hope that Hasbro decides to have a Hatsune Miku-like character show up in the toyline. I think that would be great,wouldn't it?
