I'm just hoping the wait for the dub of the film won't be an eternity like it was for the last film's dub.

Given Khara's record, it may be done in a few months or a year if they're still with the VSI cast.

I would prefer the Rebuild cast to return for the final film this dub spans over a decade in the making it wouldn't feel right without Mike Mcfarland and the rest of the crew.

Hopefully Funimation will still be able to get the rights. Netflix getting it would not be ideal, in my opinion. Also Funimation was never able to get streaming rights to the Rebuilds, so Khara must be pretty strict about international streaming (even though they streamed them on youtube for free for a time, weird).

Doubt a dub will come anytime soon. And I hope the dub cast is the same for consistency and the translation isn't the Netflix atrocity.
I'm hoping they'll release the subbed version in overseas theaters soon, but that's also tied into distribution for blu ray too. I'm hoping it is still contracted with Funimation, or G Kids.
Usually Khara updates the animation in the subsequent home video releases from 1.0,2.0,3.0 > 1.11,2.22,3.33. Though what will they call this one? 3.33 + 1.11? Or just 4.44?
Though considering this film took awhile, maybe they're happy with it as is.
Anyway I think it'll be another year until any official overseas releases. Most will just get their hands on a Japanese DVD release by year's end which will naturally find its way online.
Right now I'm eager to get another Sagisu OST masterpiece, but I'd prefer to hear it first while watching the film.

That's nice and all but what I want to know is when can I see it, damn it anyway?

I'm intrigued. Knowing what's involved with creating an IMAX film (as well as the audio requirements), the cost is usually far beyond even the most successful anime studios. It will be very interesting to see and hear this movie via streaming and physical media, and learn how many minutes were devoted to IMAX, and if it will be an Enhanced release.
