Jeez. First Kirby Morrow and now her, and she barely got to make her mark. This is so sad. May she rest in peace.

Apparently it was not COVID related; it was cancer.

She was only 6 months older than me (and a year younger than Kirby Morrow).

I really enjoyed Hikari Yono's performance as Kaolinite in Sailor Moon Crystal. It's a shame she passed away at such a young age. This also comes right after we recently lost the actor for Kunzite in the live action Sailor Moon.

If it was indeed cancer, well cancer doesn't give a shit about age sadly. I'm ready for a break from all this misery and sad news. I hope her family and loved ones can find some solace amongst this horrible time.

RIP, I really enjoyed her Kaolinite, why do good voice actors die so young?

Just after Kirby Morrow's death shook me so much. I only really knew of her from Naruto and her work with Shima and Samui and Yoshino from Gantz. Watched the hell out of the latter series during senior year in High School. This also means that Samui will have to be recast if she ever shows in Boruto, sadly. Goodbye, Yono-san. Thanks for making senior year memorable for me.
