@Kougeru
Agreed, I had similar thoughts.
Although now I wonder how the author will reach a *different conclusion* then from what the anime had done(I think it was anime only ending).

I had no idea this series had resumed, either! DNAngel was one of my gateway manga, so I feel so much nostalgic love for it.
I hope this complete version can get licensed and released on this side of the Pacific. I'd buy it in a heartbeat to finally find out how the story ends (the less said about the anime-only ending the better).

Wow, finally! For years I thought this manga was just going to be incomplete.

I hadn't paid attention to DN Angel for years but I remember it was pretty popular when it first came out and then fandom seemed to move on from it. I don't know what the manga is like now but it would be nice to see a new anime version made with everything else getting reboots. Is the manga even still available in English? I recall it being a Tokyopop license from their old days.

Viz has digital versions of the old Tokyopop volumes for sale, but the series is long out of print.

... are you kidding me? Was the anime a dif story cus if not and if the anime followed the manga then, all i can say is, how does something like this even continue? The anime started out fine but as it went on it just got worse and worse and honestly, i would've dropped it half way through it if I wasn't watching it cus of a anime viewing club i was part of. After that I said, I am not going to sit through something I'm not enjoying anymore. For anyone wondering, yes I finished the anime to the end and it never got better, in fact, I was saying thank God its finally over by the end of it, I was THAT relieved to be done with it. Its one of the worst and most boring anime I've ever seen and certainly is for kaito/thief anime genre

I wish Yen Press or Kodansha USA would rescue this.

I wish Kodansha USA would rescue the romcom manga "Pastel".
