Hmm. Looks far more generic than I expected and animation is a bit off.

Animation looks terrible and art lackluster I wonder if production ig outsourced this to smaller studios. I can see this tanking it’s a shame since I’ve heard this was the most captivating story of the 3 WEBTOON Crunchyroll made

Maybe I'm blind, the artistic style, the color palette and the animation are far from bad.

Looks about as generic as I expected. Not surprising, since the source material to write home about. Those Webtoons comics from what I've read, just don't have enough meat to them,to do a show on them.

I don't know why they chose these particular scenes when it shows nothing about the actual animation work, or is the series known for its type of dry humor cause that seems to be what showcased here. Can't say anything about animation yet, there's barely any animated bits in here, the previous teaser with some action scenes are looking good to me.

Yea I dont know why webtoons get so much attention, their popularity just isnt deserving, let alone making adaptations of it.

I know, no?
Who are you people to judge and decide what is worthy.
If i to go like this, i think some animes are very bad too; but i watch? No...
Dont like something and think is not worthy losing my time, i do not comment either
I think webtoons are great.
I been a manga reader for more than 15 years, but webtoons are no lower either for me. Are great. A lot have better graphic than a manga and plot.
Dont just bash someone work cus is rude.
Now, back to noblesse. Yes, i love this manwha, but i will split the anine from it and watch it as something separatly. I know the dry humor from it wont be understood by many, the changes or animation seems to be heavy complained, but i been waiting this for years.
I wont be bitching about anything and just enjoy.
Dont like... drop. Is not hard.
I have other sadly 4 now instead of 5 in my fall list
By by to your eternity.

Even after watching GoH and Tower of God, I am still going to
give it the benefit of the doubt and watch the first few episodes. Hoping they actually adapt content suitable for 13 episodes and maybe even make me like one of these adaptations enough to read the source material.

I think the article should also have included a mention of Studio Animal's 2015 OVA of the series made in S. Korea. Both that and Production I.G.'s OVAs were pretty good, especially given their short run times. I'm trying really hard not to judge this based on just a preview, but this one's leaving me with uh-oh feelings. I'm still looking forward to it, and will undoubtedly watch it no matter how bad (or hopefully good) it turns out to be, since I've really liked the Webtoon.

I want to see them do the gamer and girls of the wilds before this project implodes. Then the big 5 would be out. Theres a Naver show about singles going to jail and being partnered up that would benfit from the CR treatment. Sadly Korea fled to porn toons So our selection is limited tbh.

Frankenstein's voice is so weird! It's too deep. I expected him to have a slightly more feminine and sultry voice to match his personality, not this straight-laced businessman voice. Actually Rai's voice is weirdly deep too, it's unsettling.
I'll just hold out for the Korean dub, not that I have much faith in this with such unattractive character designs.

There's one going on right now called The Red King that looks like it would be awesome once it gets enough story under its belt to work with. Unique and interesting characters and absolutely exquisite artwork. I also adore Love Advice From the Great Duke of Hell, but I don't think it would translate very well to anime. It's all about dry, deadpan humor, an absurd storyline that is nonetheless flawless in its internal logic and how it manages to bring together plot points you didn't even know were plot points, and the most hilarious reaction faces ever.

It’s what you would expect from the first generation of works from a part of the world that has not recently worked in this medium to this degree (therefore I am not counting the bountiful amount of K-Dramas and the like, I am aware that they are numerous and successful). It’s going to take time for them to find their voices, make material that isn’t relying on plot beats and structure from Japanese productions, and expand their genres outside of urban fantasy and slice of life works.
In their defense, as far as original productions go, Nobleese was getting less hype than Shield Hero, but infinitely more hype than “Onyx something or other” which I’m pretty sure Crunchyroll would send to the cornfield with High Guardian Spice and FreakAngels if they had the opportunity to do so.
