Wait, this means we're getting two new Strike Witches series? Nice.

Another Funimation simulcast, I presume. Can't wait for the war on pants again.
It's a shame we never got Operation Victory Arrow though. Are those OVAs necessary for the plot? I'm guessing some kind of manga/novel bundle was the reason why

They're very good, but they don't really tie into the plot, they just focus on certain characters and their relationships with some Neuroi to defeat.

I wish Funimation would get them at some point, but I guess that ship has sailed. Welp.

It's hard to say for sure. Having a current tv season to go with it does help, but they are pretty inconsistent about OVAs and movies. They have been known to include OVAs on physical releases to offer a pretty good incentive to purchase, but there isn't any real guarantee.

Is that Hattori Shizuka I see? They do need someone to replace the Major in the field don’t they? I approve.

Ishida was a given honestly. David Productions behind this is amazing and I'm massively hyped

I'm glad Covid delays didn't push this back at all. Luminous Witches also had its first key visual revealed at the same time. Some nice news all at once.
