I've heard good things about Wild Last Boss. I might check it out.

I've been reading the manga and WN of Yasei no last boss for a while, good to see the LN finally localized. Deathbound Duke's Daughter has been stalled for years though.

Earth Star Entertainment released the sixth compiled book volume on March 12.

This is the manga. JNC licensed the light novel, which is complete at 9 volumes; the final volume was released April 2019.

Premise sounds interesting (if not wholly original), but by stalled do you mean the usual, "author has writers block for the past decade" kind of stalled, or it's gotten borring?

The former, there are only 2 volumes until now, the second of which dates from December 15, 2017.

The original webnovel is still ongoing; word is the author's more of the slow and steady type who emphasizes story quality over the usual "speed and quantity". Hence their updates can be rather slow, and they've been taking months long hiatuses between arcs presumably to plan out the story (Arc 6 is scheduled as the finale).

Apparently the main reason for the stalling was that the author wanted to write up to the 5th WN arc before they approved the publishing of Vol 3. However it seems the LN versions have not been selling to the projected expectations of the Japanese publisher.

Deathbound Duke's Daughter sounds like a rip off All Routes Lead to Doom. It'll have to be good and have it's own hook.

Wild Last Boss sounds pretty interesting.

I've been following the fan translation of the webnovel, and while the premise has an initial setup like All Routes Lead to Doom (to be fair it's an extremely common setup for female lead isekai series), Deathbound Duke's Daughter is an adventure series as opposed to a comedy. Notably the setup with Deathbound Duke's Daughter is that in the "game" there are seven mystery routes and each route would have Erika die at the start of the mystery which is then solved by the game heroine. For Erika it's not quite as simple as changing relations with a character that resolves her death route, she actually has to unravel the mystery that would lead to her death in the game. There is actually quite a bit of conflict in the story.

Definitely will be getting Wild Last Boss and Deathbound Duke's Daughter when they're released. Had a lot of enjoyment with both series.

It’s wonderful to see Erica’s novel getting picked up. It’s probably the best adventuring otome Isekai together with Eliza. The world building is superb, even compared to non-Isekai series. Shame that the LN didn’t continue on. At least the author is still planning to finish the WN.

Yay! I'm happy to see a new gender bender title pop up for translation. I'm down for it, as usual.

A manga adaptation of Erica was announced recently, so there's musings/hopes the Japanese publisher will resume adapting the Erica WNs.
