how did the first one continue whhile the sequel ended, did they move the story to in game?

Also sad to see something last so long go and so imediately, like, no final arc off-boarding arc?

I have always thought Mistwalker should have stayed with console development. Or at least PC. Terra Battle has all the makings of a great console game, but not a great mobile game.

Todd recommended this game in one of his ANN X-Button game columns years ago

Because players liked the 1st game but not the 2nd game, so they kept playing the 1st game even after they dropped the 2nd game

It has been a long while since I've played it, and also I think they did a collab event with Mobius Final Fantasy (which is also sadly ending, after a nice long life), which was the first cross franchise event I've played in a gacha game. Sad to see it end, but also must recognize that this game, when compared to other gacha games, has lived a nice long life.

...and also the game preservationist in me still has to wonder, how will all these games that are ending their service over the course of this summer be saved and preserved. There this, Mobius, and Symphogear XDU (even those this game's global server is a total mess, as a fan, still want to see this saved as well).
