I really hope they bring back Uchiyama Kouki for lead male role, just so they can make drama CDs/radio shows with him and Ayaneru flirting again
On another note, did Maeda Jun get a heart transplant? Someone mentioned he has an "artificial heart", which I assume they mean an LVAD, in which case being fit enough to work while being supported on that for 4 years is quite lucky.

I don't like her voice. They should have chosen a different person this time.

Which one voice though, Nao? Cause Ayaneru has a damn wide vocal range.

I don't dislike Ayaneru, but I'm honestly pretty surprised they choose to pick a voice actress who has already featured as the main heroine in Key series. Maybe a first, if we're not counting HanaKana in AB! and Rewrite...

I think the male lead is supposed to be Hiroshi Kamiya (so they really repeating themselves a little here).

Let's hope this turns out better than Charlotte, I could use a good new Key anime.

I personally liked Charlotte and I don't see anythign wrong with it... why does everyone online say it was bad/hate/dislike it? Where are all the people that liked or lvoed Charlotte? :/
Anyway, am looking forward to more Key anime, hope this comes sooner than later :)

I am hoping that I can enjoy Ayane Sakura’s character better here than in Charlotte and I also hope that Asai’s directing can help bring out the best in this premise.

There has been no reports of the transplant. It has only been stated that he needs one.

I'm a fan of the series. Though, I do feel like it rushed through things in the last few episodes. Not enough for me to lose enjoyment of the series, I own it on disc.
This new project looks interesting. Last Key anime I saw was ReWrite, and it wasn't something I found enjoyable. Haven't seen Planetarian, so hoping I'll like that Key anime.

I agree on ReWrite and with Charlotte I count that as a "second strike". That's why I hope this goes well. I think about anyone who likes "classic" Key works would like Planeterian as the "kinetic novel" was created in the same time frame as those and both it and the anime carry much the same feeling and "punch". I'd refer Villain-chan to the discussion thread for Charlotte as one can see who loved it and who didn't. I'm not a fan by any stretch but I'm not one to "bash" it or the fans either as I believe the adage "to each their own". Have to admit I feel much like Head Priest Ferdinand from Ascendance of a Bookworm failing to understand Myne in such cases

Honestly Charlotte wasn't terrible like *cough* ReWrite *cough* but it definitely had its issues. The biggest was probably the last episode and TBH it really took too long to get me to invest in it. More then half the series was over before I really started to enjoy it. Which was the complete opposite of AB which had me at Ep2 at the latest.
