Noticed Funimation have mostly "hot" and anticipated spring animes while Crunchyroll have mostly less "hot" and less anticipated animes (except probably Sing "Yesterday" for Me). How pathetic for CR. CrunchyFlop.

^CR has 5 of the top 10 shows by most members on MAL this season (SAO, Tower of God, Food Wars, Fruits Basket, and Yesterday), same as Funi (Kaguya, SAO, Fruits Basket, Gleipnir, and Kakushigoto) - the other two are Oregairu 3 for HIDIVE and BNA for Netflix. They also have 3 of the next 5 after that (Villainess, Bookworm 2, 8th Son), while Funi has 2 (Appare Ranman and No Guns Life 2). Of the shows that were most anticipated by the reviewers here, CR has the most (Villainess, Tower of God, Yesterday and Fruits Basket) and given that Funi hasn’t already announced Arte and CR still has announcements to make, CR will likely pick that one up as well, whereas Kaguya is the only exclusive Funi title to make the reviewers’ most anticipated list. By what metric does Funi have mostly hot and anticipated shows, more so than CR?

CR would have had Re:Zero if it wasn't for the COVID-19 delay. It also really depends on what you see as "hot and anticipated" and it remains to be seen if any specific show is "good".

CR currently has at least 16 series confirmed to be streaming, Funi has 20, and Hidive has 3, but there is some overlap (ie. SAO), and some shows airing this season still don't have any streaming announced yet.
