how come a completely trash series like gintama hasn't been cancelled yet, but tokyo shinobi squad got cancelled and samurai 8 might get cancelled? I just dont understand. did everyone in control of the media get brain damage?

I am enjoying the excessive censoring, particularly when it looks like there is nothing it is actually covering.

If you consider brain damage to be choosing to continue the series that is consistently read by millions, compared to a series that isn't, then sure...

You do realize that there are people who enjoy Gintama,right?It's an enjoyable series despite how over the top and surreal it can be.
