Another anime with father and daughter? Hate to say this but I don't like father-daughter trope because it affects me personally -- I don't have a father and in my life I never experienced father-daughter relationship. Not all daughters have fathers like me.

The Kakushigoto trailer looks interesting and Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei did have some very smart dialogue. I think the last show like this was Sweetness and Lightning.
That does explain why you would avoid this type of story though it is not really a trope it is about fatherhood which is important to a lot of people. Also for a story to mainly be about fatherhood is rarely seen in anime outside of fantasy series. |
