For anyone thinking this could be a mistake, it would take a lot of effort to mistake any movie out there right now with Konosuba on letterboxd.

Side note, wait till some of yall see what rating he gave Paprika : )

Good for him. I have watched it and it was nothing like some woke reviewer(s) told it was. For someone who haven't read the source material (me), it was an enjoyable one and a half hour full of the stuff that made me love the KonoSuba series in the first place.

I can only imagine parts of the Konosuba fandom saying, "Shoot, Roger Avary. That's all you had to say!"

Good for him. Personally, I found the movie to be a shell of what it should have been. Coming from someone who read the light novel, the movie traded in a lot of moments for silly gags. There were even original punch lines from the novel that where rushed and made significantly less funny in the movie.

Granted, in order to fit the screen time, a lot of stuff needed to be cut. I understand that. But I just don't think they cut it the right way, is all.

He also worked on the live-action Crying Freeman and Silent Hill.
