I was searching around for Crystal Kay's newest single and I found this site for a live action movie of Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru. The trailer I believe is found here at the movie's website http://www.bokuimo-themovie.com/ and it really reminds me of Koi Kaze .

The attractive stars include Komatsu Ayaka (Sailor Venus from Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon) and Matsumoto Jin (live action Hana Yori Dango and popular boyband ARASHI). Although they are popstars both are actually very good actors, Jin even won a Japanese TV drama academy award for his acting in Hana Yori Dango.

The music is what really makes me want to see this movie and Crystal Kay's theme song is beautiful.

I have some doubts just because the anime version was awful, but hopefully some better writing and some good actors like these will make this movie much more enjoyable and much more dramatic and less stupid.

Are we really talking about rarefied Koi Kaze caliber here, or is this likely to be more in line with the other 99% of Japan's glossed-over little sister love plots? I can handle questionable themes when they at least try to reflect reality, but when they gleefully pretend that even abhorrent actions don't have correspondingly negative consequences I tend to lose interest quickly.

Did he ever imply otherwise? It's pretty obvious that you're rather proud of your massive database here, as well you should be, but what does it matter when it was added in the context of the opening post?

A movie? That's pretty cool. I liked the anime so I might attempt to watch the movie.

I know this is a bit off-topic but what's the name of the song by Crystal Kay playing in the trailer?

Kitto Eien Ni, comes out January the 17th. I've been a big fan of her music but this has got to be the best song she has ever made.

Does anyone happen to know what the translation of Kitto Eien Ni is?

Bleh, Nana Eikura... I'm not sure if she can take on a serious role cause her acting was pretty bad in Kikken na Aneki, where she was only a semi-serious side character, and her comical role in Dandori was pretty exaggerated and terrible.

Lead star = Komatsu Ayaka? ANN Encyclopedia and DramaWiki says otherwise.

And my very limited Japanese says that "kitto eien ni" means something along the lines of "Hopefully forever..."

/I like Crystal Kay's songs too. :)
