I could see an "immersive poo exhibit" (ie., one that's exactly what it sounds like) being a cute touring exhibit for kids'-science museums, but asking investors to invest in an entire building venture...

What I kept repeating to myself while reading the article: "WTF..."
Only I didn't use the abbreviation...

I clicked on this desperately hoping that it would be in some way a museum about the biology of poop.... I was very disappointed.

I've read more than my fair share of articles of weird Japan on this website. This one just has to be one of the weirdest ones I've ever read here. I'm also with those who can't believe that there would be someone in Japan who thought that something like...this was a good idea for a museum. It's just astonishing that anyone would think that this was a good idea. I'll tell you. If I were ever in Japan,I'd avoid that museum like the plague. I might end up nauseous.

Uhmmmm... don’t really know how it can be a “world 1st” as there is already a Poo Museum in Seoul, South Korea. Definitely not as elaborate as what they are going for here, but still a must see really wierd experience. And it’s been open for years!

And, ironically enough, didn't say "Fudge".

Out of all the articles I have seen since I first started visiting ANN (I think that was 5/2005), these poop-related articles are among the top WTF. Seriously, this looks a WASTE of tax yen money. This a really CRAPPY idea to begin with. Why do they ASS-ume that people will flock to see this? I would like to get to the BOTTOM of this madness. Then again, what better way to WIPE the tears away than with a visit to a place that is in the bowels of absurdity. I wonder how many people will be left feeling FLUSHED.
