World's 1st Immersive "Poo Museum" Opens in Yokohama in March
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
A world filled with poo awaits you at Yokohama's Unko Museum (Poo Museum). The "hands-on" museum will open on March 15 and introduce a playful world filled with colorful crap (literally).
The museum will have four different areas to best explore all your bowels have to offer. The "Poo Plaza" will feature a giant volcanic poo that regularly shoots out small poos from its top. The "Un-stagenic Area" is full of glittery poo ready to be the backdrop of visitors' selfies on Instagram. The "Un-telligence Area" will focus on poo smarts by passing on the history of poo around the world. Finally, visitors will be able to head to the "Un-teractive Area" to enjoy a round of poo games.
Poo is fun for the whole family and commonly the butt of Japanese jokes. The "Unko Dashi" (Poo Boys) gathered following after initially starting as a joke on Late Night! The Genius Bakabon. "Poopman," a very unique superhero has appeared on the streets whenever his alter-ego Akihiko Koseki, the president of the video game company Dice Creative, Inc., isn't busy.
