Question. I read that the current "Welcome to the JAPARI PARK" shorts were supposed to be a faithful retelling of the original mobage story, right? But they have Caracal in them. So is she a new character, or not?
Oh, right, Google. Sorry, 2 AM, sleep deprived.

So she was in the 2015 game, but not in the 2017 anime.

Correct, she is not new. In fact, she's probably one of the most original characters from the series, but I suppose she's new in the sense that we see her in the official TV anime series. If I recall she was also in the mobile game as well.

That would be around 30-40 BDs/DVDs, it's probably going to sell less than the 1st volume of Dragon Crisis but not so much 30-40 BDs/DVDs.

Yeah, because you visited Japan and confirmed that the first season is selling badly or the Japanese people don´t wanna know about this second season. I told someone yesterday that just because a series sells badly or has poor reception outside japan, it doesn´t mean that in Japan is living the same situation. Probably most japanese fans actually like the idea of having the series being an iyashikei instead of a post-apocalyptic series hidden under a CGDCT show

Looking forward to people complaining about "awful new characters" who (in Caracal's case) predate the missing Kaban, then.

We know the first season sold well there? But yeah, while I liked that element of the first season and wanted a story continuation, I'm also down for a more ordinary show helmed by the director of Aikatsu, so I can easily picture many Japanese fans staying on board. It's like trying to call an election. Can the "No Tatsuki No Tanoshii" movement get their "candidate" (a boycott) elected?
