So why hasn't this been a Funimation simuldub? It seems like Crunchyroll has it in France at least but the lack of even just a simulcast in the US is a bad sign considering what happened with Saiki K.

I doubt Netflix picked this up since they typically go after global licenses unless they've made a drastic exception for this. I also doubt Sentai or Amazon picked this up as well. Through the process of elimination it has to Funi who will stream this in English speaking countries. They're probably still finalizing details. I'm not totally sure if it will be exclusive to Funi or they'll expand CR's rights to English speaking countries as well.

Woo, it's available for streaming in Finland on CR, but only with subs in languages I can't understand. Cool.

Source? That doesn’t make sense considering Netflix would like to get worldwide rights to their acquisitions and they don’t even have the previous seasons on their service. Also, why would they be willing to share a title like this with their competitor if it’s possible for them to have it all if they wanted to? (Netflix could have, for example, let Crunchyroll stream Violet Evergarden in non-English territories if they wanted to, but they didn’t) It’s looking more likely that Funimation will have exclusive rights to it in English-speaking territories (delayed announcement) as part of the nature of the license just like Tokyo Ghoul.

Do you guys even check who you're linking? There are two Hiroyuki Yoshino's. One is a seiyuu and the other one is a mangaka and anime script writer. Can you guess which one belongs now.
