Two characters I'd like to see in Smash are Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia (an actual playable fighter, not a Mii costume damn it), and Goemon from Ganbare Goemon. Considering they brought Snake back, Goemon shouldn't be outside of the realm of possibility and his zany combat style would fit right in. As for Lloyd, he's the best choice to represent the Tales universe in Smash, though I imagine some people would complain that we have too many anime style swordsmen in the game already.

Also in the last week, Pqube finally released the Kickstarter-funded English-language Vita versions of Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative, possibly two of the last anime-related Vita releases we’ll see in the West. https://twitter.com/pqubegames/status/1009836358318415879

Those released? I thought they were out in EU but the US release was delayed slightly. |

Ah, right: digital is available now from the PS store, physical in a few weeks. Speaking of VNs, Clannad for PS4 came out today, IIUC. |

Well sure if you ignore the fact that Konami has been kind of skittish with the Goemon ip......I also don't know what this Ganbare Goemon thing is it like the Legend Of The Mystical Ninja starring Kid Ying
We have 6 Mario characters 7 if you count Wario, along with 6 Fire Emblem characters one more Capcom character wouldn't be as redudant as those two. |

Don't buy New Gundam Breaker, it's garbage worse than Gundam Crossfire, it could be the worst Gundam game in history as even Japanese gamers are bashing it to oblivion, also there are a lot of 1 star reviews on Amazon Japan. This is something on a tier that the Angry Video Game Nerd should be reviewing.

Definitely concerned about the developer on the Kill la Kill game. I imported their Little Witch Academia game when it originally released in Japan (mostly out of frustration at not being able to get blurays of the series in the US), and it was one of my biggest disappointments in recent memory. That survey doesn't even have the right categories to express what's wrong with it.
Things like dropping frames from animation cycles in an attempt to replicate the look of traditional animation end up really bringing the game down due to multiple sets of jerky animations going on at once while the camera pans at a smoother framerate. That alone would be enough to kill a fighter or a more involved action game. What really ruins it, though, is the absolutely atrocious interface that makes keeping track of different quest chains (and figuring out which ones you've already completed) a huge chore. The potions necessary for everything from "puzzles" (literally just "stand in place, use item") to fast travel and even activating save points also make any kind of experimentation or exploration a huge chore that demands grinding in samey dungeons that take way too long to unlock. Everything about it felt half-baked and rushed out the door (especially with a number of key features pushed to post-release patches) and I'd really hate to see a Kill la Kill game turn out similarly. |

My Smash list would be as thus:
-Spring Man/Ribbon Girl (ARMS) - I imagine them playing like a Dhalsim character with their reach, but suffering at close range. -Elma (Xenoblade X) - She could be interesting because she could be a run and gun character with dual machine guns. I imagine her Final Smash would be something like summoning the Ares 90 -Wonderful 101 (The Wonderful 101) - They'd be like the Pokemon Trainer, probably with a focus on Wonder Red, Wonder Blue, and Wonder Pink -Simon Belmont (Castlevania) - With the animated series reinvigorating interest it's an ideal time to bring him in. |

Something else to consider is that the Rabbids already cameoed in TMNT: Smash Up,a Smash Bros. style game. They definitely CAN work in the Smash Bros. battling system.
I'm really more interested in the stages they'll bring though. I'm hoping for a Rhythm Heaven STAGE more than a character. (My fingers are crossed for Night Walk, as it lends itself perfectly to a scrolling stage.)
what you describe sounds a lot like Dragon Ball FighterZ. That's a game that looks very nice...until I start getting motion sickness from the intentional choppiness of the characters combined with the smooth framerate for everything else. |

I don't think it is the case with New Gundam Breaker, it's already being discounted to 5610 yen after barely 2 days. It's telling people not to buy it or wait until it gets discounted even further in a month or two, because it's some of the hottest garbage of 2018. |
