For those who don't know Artland studio isn't dead
http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2017/07/10-1/animation-artland-president-denies-reports-of-studio-shutdown https://kotaku.com/anime-studio-artland-just-went-bankrupt-1796704791 (July 7 6:42am Update) and given the fact that Marvelous Entertainment is involved in the stage play (parent company) their probably using this stage play to help pay Artland's debt and seeing how the blu rays did pretty well last year and the series ranking pretty high last year in NHK's 100 anime anniversary ranking, the fact that it was trending in japan they might want to see if there is still interested, also helps that the Bunko Volumes are selling like hot cakes
