Something to also note. Atsushi Maekawa is the Series Composition Writer and Episode Writer on Mecard, who also wrote the Bakugan series as well, as Episode Writer and Series Composition Writer. So this may also factor into the lawsuit as well.

Between Mattel (and all toy Manufacturers) taking a big hit from Toys R Us closing and already declining sales the last thing they need is yet another expensive legal battle. I wonder if they're starting to regret turning down Hasbro's purchase offer as the company's value drops?
