so does the dub for this movie stick witht he old antiquated practices such as using "dub tracks" instead of the original?

Nah, other than the new Digimon theme song (which isn’t as cool as the original Eng opening in my opinion) they’ve kept all of the original music. Heck, other than the original dub names and some jokes, it seems Tri is the most faithful dub adaptation of Digimon to date.

That’s cool with me actually. I had a feeling the main theme wouldn’t be kept, but just cared if the rest of the ost was kept in tact. thanks for the info.
