I'd have preferred a second season, but an original movie sounds great. And the fact that the director is being influenced in some way by Dunkirk is intriguing.
Hopefully it won't be one of those short 50-minute features, either. Give us two full hours of evil Lolly!

From that preview,seems the movie is a direct sequel to where the adaption left off in the light novel.
Is there information that the movie is going to tell an original story?

They rehashing the plot of the series and adding something to it? I'm confused if this is an adaption verses new content set after the television show.

Sorry, I meant original in the sense that it wasn't a rehash/remake of the anime series. Since I've not read the LN's, anything animated that didn't cover stuff already done in the anime is "original" in my mind. Poor choice of words, my mistake.

I hope turning to the movie side will not kill the franchise...like Kadokawa did with the Sora no Otohoshimono series.
