That's a surprise. Although given what the Salesman is all about, I could see it catching on as a thing beyond the show itself.

Don's basically a 'magic word' for when Moguro curses someone. (Though there was a case where he 'Donned' someone to teleport out of a car; the one with the weird mustache) Still, I'm surprised too. Laughing Salesman is very niche (its ranked pretty low on anime rankings sites for a reason), but it was probably my favorite show that aired that season; that wasn't a sequel of course. (For that honor would go to Natsume Yuujinchou) And I'm not just reminded of the fact that the official webpage for that show literally has a section where you can click a button that just says Don. Classy work, guys. |

Laughing Salesman is probably the least niche character on the list. People already knew the phrase before hand from the manga, the 89 adaptation, the live action show and the multitude of commercials that have used the character. He really had an unfair advantage. |

I really the series both 1989 adaptation and the 2017 reboot. Moguro Fukuzō is very interesting character he like something that Tim Burton would have made. Hope we get season 2 of Laughing Salesman New.
